Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding from the government.  It is generated through numbers of children on low income who apply for Free School Meals.  If your child does not have Free School Meals, but may be eligible because of your family's invome level, you can apply online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/children-families-and-learning/schools/school-meals-uniforms-and-trips/apply-for-free-school-meals/

Sports Premium

We believe every child has the right to experience a broad and balanced curriculum.  This does mean going outside and experiencing some adverse weather conditions.  Our aim is to deliver two hours of high quality PE/ODL each week to all children from Early Years to Year 6.  This enables us to teach your children about the positive health and wellbeing affects that being active and outdoors can have on their life during their time at Primary School and for the rest of their lives.  We hope all children will find an activitythat they will develop a passion for and inspire them to become life-long participants.

Key Stage 1 -

The children are taught fundamental movements that physically motivate and build confidence.  Children compete with themselves and others and can recognise both success and failure in order to evaluate a performance.

Key Stage 2 -

The children are taught to apply and develop movements learnt in Key Stage 1; to become reflective learners for both themselves and their peers, working effectively together to achieve a common goal.

Competitions - the children participate in events across the Consortium Multi Academy Trust, bringing together pupils from all the schools to experience sporting tournaments on a larger scale.
